SKILL BUILDING CLINICS
PRE-TEENS AND BEGINNERS
Class Size: 9
Skill Building Sessions are designed to develop pre-teen juniors to play at a higher level and introduce younger juniors to the game. Students will work with Coach Blackwelder on basic skills on a weekly basis. These clinics enhance private instruction the student receives from Coach Blackwelder or other coaches.
Upon arrival, each student pairs their phone with a MEVO unit or Blast Motion sensor that measures swing or putting data such as carry distance, swing speed, ball speed, stroke tempo, face rotation etc. During the session students will learn about the basics in a group discussion demonstration format, and receive individual help as needed.
The classes are focused on full-swing fundamentals, putting, wedges, and speed training.
This program pairs well with Learn To Play Camps that begin in April at Keene Run Golf Course. More information here.
