Pre-Teen After-School Program
presented by
High Performance Golf Academy and Keene Run Golf Club
Blackwelder Golf Learn and Play Program is a combination of two class format designed for boys and girls 6-12 years old. Juniors may choose to participate in one or both of the class formats.
-
Skills Building Clinics are a series of classes designed to introduce and/or strengthen the junior's command of the basic fundamentals of golf. The classes will be conducted on the driving range, putting green, and short game area.
-
On-Course Camps are designed to give juniors a chance to play the Keene Run Golf Club, and train the caddie [parent, guardian, or responsible party] to caddie for the junior in tournament competition. The camps will entail a short skills clinic, brief warm-up on the driving range and short game area, and playing the course. The Blackwelder Golf staff will be on the course to help the junior and caddie during the round.
Philosophy:
Mastering golf skills is a lengthy process that requires patience. Each class is designed to prepare juniors to play golf for a lifetime. The skills training they do today, will create lasting performance gains in 6 months as the player "owns" the skill, and no longer has "to think" about learning new movement patterns. Confidence is earned through repetition on the range, putting green, and by playing.
NOW is the perfect time to enroll your favorite junior golfer in an upcoming private or group coaching program.
